Ladera Granola was looking to refresh their current granola products, Original and Immortal, and create a new identity that would allow them to grow their brand beyond granola.
The old packaging was devoid of any emotional or flavor cues and did not reflect the great story behind the brand. The bond between the mother and son, and the location of Ladera California had to be represented to communicate the fact that this healthy granola was made with a mother’s love and passed along to the son to enjoy.
The light airy clouds, and the mother and son running through the fields helps tell the story that this is a healthy product that can provide you with the energy to fuel your day. The precious ingredient image reinforces the fact that great care is taken to use only the finest natural ingredients. JAM established a brand architecture that would allow for additional line extensions and also future product categories to be rolled out.
